III. Introducing Topic and Objectives (2 min)

Teacher introduces:

Rule:

Both parts use Present Simple.

Text:

Mobile phones have become an important part of modern life. People use them for communication, studying, entertainment, and work. If people have smartphones, they usually use many applications every day. Mobile phones make communication faster and easier.

Tasks:

1. Read the text.

2. Find examples of facts.

3. Answer questions:

• Why are phones important?

• What do people use them for?

• How do phones help communication?

VII. Speaking Activity (10 min)

Pair Work

Students discuss:

• What happens if you forget your phone at home?

• What do people do if Wi-Fi does not work?

• What happens if students use phones during class?

Students should create Zero Conditional sentences.

VIII. Writing Activity (10 min)

Write:
