1.Greeting. Ask who is on duty today? Ask about the date, the day, and the weather. Warm-up • Make a circle and put the hands on the front of your friend shoulders and spin • Then T says the stand up! It means sit down, Sit down it means stand up! Then teacher divide the class into groups. I’m going to use the platform “Qazmath”. Look at the active board Homework Let’s ask you homework. I use the platform Qazmath Lead – In “Words by sport” open the close puzzles and say this type of sport
Okay, great. So the theme of our lesson is My country. Exercise and sport. The aim of our lesson is: • Read a text about Kazakh sports stars. • Learn vocabulary connected to success in sports. • Write sentences about famous sportspeople in Kazakhstan. |

Ss divide into two groups 1st group ‘Wrestling’ 2nd group “Figure skating” Ss open the close papers and say name this sport. When they finish the task they should say the theme of the lesson. Ss listen to the teacher and understand the aim of the lesson and open their books |

Do you know other sport stars? • Draw students’ attention to the photos. Ask them if they can identify who they are. • In pairs, students discuss what they know about the sportspeople Differentiation: «Verbal support» method is used to help Students use new words in the text.
