I am glad to see you. How are you? What day is it today? Write down the date. What is the weekday today? What is the weather like today? Is it cold or warm? Is it rainy or snowy? What the season is it now? Who is on duty today? Who is absent?

Give them pictures of 3 different children to describe using character adjectives, which group finishes first gets 3 smileys, which group is second gets 2 smileys, last group gets one smiley, till the end of the lesson collect as more smileys as you can and your team may win and get the highest point 10

The theme of our lesson is Daily routine and grammar Present Simple.

You will make up sentences and will speak about daily routines.

Turn on the video “My day” to show children visually examples of what do they do every day, before doing exercise ask them to look at exercise 3 page 36 and read examples

Learners divided 3 group’s

1-st group In the morning

2-nd in the afternoon

3-rd group in the evening

Use of English (Present Simple) Method: Grammar station

To present The Present Simple tense switch on the slide

Go around the class and ask students tell you what they do every day or what some of their habits are. They should give examples in the first person singular.

Introduce Present Simple – Third person singular

Say: “I read a book every day. Sarah reads a book every day. Make sure students notice that you added the s for the third person singular. Give more examples with other students, and introduce the irregular verbs: John goes to work at 8. Sally has lunch at 1. Students provide more examples from the information previously shared by their classmates.

Ask learners how Present Simple is form in affirmative sentences. To remember show them slide and explain the rule.

Learners do ex. 2 at p. 36 to practice write the 3d person singular form

Tell the students to play the game “Who is the first?” Children divided into three teams. Each team stood one after the other. The teacher asks questions, the children take turns (competing, one person from the team) answer the questions, whose player will answer faster, that team receives a promotion card as smileys, which is consider as point.
