Introduce 8-10 place words (e.g. hospital, bank, park) with flashcards and pronunciation practice

Play audio from book – listen and match the names to pictures.

Explain “There is / There are” with simple examples: "There is a bank." "There are two parks.

Give each pair a small town map. Ask students to describe it using “There is / There are.”
