Ss name the creatures and answer the questions. The aim: develop the ability to describe a picture, give practice of asking. Efficiency: The students will learn the names of objects by looking at pictures of the creatures. |

Read the title and the introduction to the text. And say who is Harry Potter? How are these creatures related to him? Listen and read to find out. To this task teacher uses “TPR” activity. Divide the class into 3 groups. T put 3 kinds of fruits to divide Ss into 3 groups. Apple, pear and banana. Divide the text into 3 part and give each groups. |
Ss take their texts and read. All Ss try to make a presentation and prepare questions. And present to the class. Aim: revise the ancient story and construct correct pronunciation. Efficiency: recall the historical films and develop memorizing skills. Differentiation: T sets up multiple reading centers in the class that focus on different literacy skills. |
