The problem of the theme is the development of functional literacy

• ability to use reading and writing skills in social interactions (UNESCO 1957)

• the ability of an individual, based on knowledge, skills and abilities, to interact normally in the system of social relations, to adapt as quickly as possible in a particular cultural environment

The relevance

• is justified by the need for teachers to master modern approaches to teaching students, aimed at developing the functional literacy of students, providing quality education for all students, taking into account their differences.

• Development of functional literacy is a demand of the time, oriented to international requirements of education system
