Breakfast at my work

I have a new job. I work in a big office in the city. In the morning, I get up at six and have breakfast. I usually have a sandwich with ham and cheese. I don’t drink coffee so I have orange juice. Then I catch the train to work. I start work at eight o’clock. I have lunch at one. I go to the restaurant near my office. The food is good but it’s expensive. I usually have fish or chicken with vegetables. I don’t drink wine because I have to go back to work. I finish work at five o’clock. I’m very tired so I don’t usually do anything in the evenings. I have dinner at about seven. I have soup or salad and then I have some fruit. I go to bed at about ten o’clock. I like my job but I don’t like the hours. I have to get up early and I finish late. On Fridays, I finish at three o’clock. I usually go to the supermarket on Friday afternoon. It’s very crowded and there are long queues at the tills. I sometimes go to the supermarket on Saturday morning but it’s always very busy. I often buy ready meals because they’re quick and easy. I don’t like cooking. I can cook spaghetti and I can make sandwiches but that’s all. I don’t eat much meat. I usually have fish or salad for dinner. I never eat fast food. I don’t like it and it’s not healthy. On Saturdays, I sometimes go to the café near my house. They do a great cooked breakfast. It’s really big – bacon, eggs, sausages, beans, tomatoes and toast. It’s delicious but it’s not very healthy. I don’t usually have lunch on Saturdays because I have a big breakfast. For dinner, I often have pizza or pasta. I love Italian food. I sometimes have a glass of wine with my dinner. I don’t usually go out on Saturdays. I stay at home and watch TV or read a book. I go to bed late on Saturdays, usually at about midnight. I get up late on Sundays, usually at about ten o’clock. I have cereal and orange juice for breakfast. Then I have a big lunch at about one o’clock. I often have roast chicken and potatoes and vegetables. For dessert, I sometimes have ice cream or fruit salad. In the evenings, I often go to a restaurant with my friends. We have pizza or pasta and we have some wine. I go to bed early on Sundays because I’m very tired.
