Lesson Procedure
1. Warm-up (5 minutes)
Teacher asks simple questions about the students’ future, e.g., 'What will you do tomorrow?'. Students share short answers.
2. Presentation (10 minutes)
Teacher explains the structure of
Future Simple:
Affirmative: Subject + will + verb (I will go)
Negative: Subject + will not (won’t) + verb (I will not go)
Question: Will + subject + verb? (Will you go?)
Examples are written on the board.
3. Practice (15 minutes)
- Students complete gap-fill
exercises with Future Simple.
- Students transform sentences from present tense to Future
Simple.
- Pair work: Students ask and answer questions about their weekend
plans.
4. Production (10 minutes)
Students work in small groups and make a short dialogue using Future Simple. They act it out in front of the class.
5. Reflection & Wrap-up (5 minutes)
Teacher reviews key points of Future Simple. Students share what they learned. Homework: Write 5 sentences about what you will do next week.
