-Good morning students! I’m glad to see you. Today we have an unusual lesson and I think you’ll enjoy it.

Постановка цели урока (1 слайд презентации)
-Look at the screen and try to predict what we are going to talk about today.

–You are quite right. Do you know anything about Joanne Rowling?

-That’s right. But I want you to know some more information about her. Look at the screen and make up some sentences about Rowling.

-Well done! Do you know how many books are there about Harry Potter?

-Now look at the screen, work in pairs and put all the books in the correct order. (слайд 3)

-So what do you have? It’s absolutely correct. Let’s check on the screen. (слайд 4)

-When you think about Harry Potter, what words come to your mind? Let’s draw word-cloud (учитель записывает все слова)

-You’ve mentioned Hogwarts. What is it?

-Let’s read about this school. You’ll work in pairs. You should scan the text about Hogwarts and match paragraphs with their titles. (разд.материал)

-Time to check.

-Then let’s watch the video and you’ll tell me what’s going on there.

8. Unfortunately we don’t have sorting hat. We have soring test. Do it and you’ll find out at which house you’ll study at Hogwarts. (раздаточный материал)

- Count what symbols you have most of all and look at the screen. Put your hands up who is (Gryffindor) (слайды 6-9)

9.-We have 4 groups - houses of Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw and Slytherin. Now we’ll have a quiz and find out which house will win. ( разд. материал)

-And the winner is…Congratulations.
