Beginning the lesson.

Warm up : video

Explain the aims of the lesson:

Say Today we’re going to listen and talk about the toys in my room.

Ask pupil to come to the front. Ask him/her to close his/her eyes. Ask another pupil to say hello. The pupil with the closed eyes tries to guess who it is. Repeat with some more pairs.

Presentation and practice.

Listen, point and repeat.

Pupils’ book closed.

Put up the My room! Poster on the board. Point to the items (doll, kite, bike, car, plane, train). The pupils repeat, chorally and/ or individually. Point to each item random order. Ask individual pupils to say the word. Ask the rest of the class verification. Name an item, e.g. bike. Ask pupil to mime a corresponding action.

Draw. Colour. Pont and say.

Refer the pupils to the picture and elicit the items. Explain the activity. The pupils draw and colour the pictures. Allow the pupils some time and present them. Demonstarate this yourself first. For weaker classes, the pupils can simply point to the items and name their colour.

Sing the My toys song!

Point to the doll and the bike and say: I’ve got a doll, and I’ve got a bike! The pupils repeat after you. Follow the same procedure and present the rest of the song.

Game: first of all pupils divided into 2 groups with help of jeribi

They turn of the papers and say name of the picture. If they can’t do it they put into the place. If they guess they draw X or O. Wins the team which have more then 5 – 6 answers.
