The aims of the lesson:

1. to enlarge pupil’s vocabulary

b) to develop pupils’ skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking speech, to understand oral speech, to enrich listening;

c) to develop the interest to English language, to teach pupils to respect other countries.

I. Greeting. Teacher’s Introductory Word.

-Hello, how are you? I’m Clara! Today we are going to have a competition lesson in the Zoo. Have you ever been to the Zoo? Is there a zoo in our city? Do you like English language? Can you speak in English? Ok, during our walking to the zoo you’ll do different tasks and improve our English.

II. Warming –up.

You divided into three groups. Well, to get to the Zoo you have to open it. I’ve got three keys. You have to add letters to make up new words. If you do it right the door of the zoo will open.

Teacher: Good for you! I think our teams will be called “Monkeys”, “Giraffes ” and “Elephants ”.

There are scores 10 is easy tasks. 20 is middle tasks 30 is difficult tasks. You should choose plates and do several tasks. For a right answer each team will get scores . The winner will be the team with a great number of scores.
