USING EFFECTIVE METHODS TO DEVELOP STUDENTS’ SPEAKING SKILLS IN ENGLISH LANGUAGE TEACHING

This article explores both the theoretical and practical aspects of developing students’ speaking skills in English language teaching. Speaking competence is a core component of language proficiency, determining a student’s ability to engage in authentic communication. Therefore, the application of effective teaching methods to foster speaking skills is a relevant issue. The article analyzes the effectiveness of communicative approaches, role-plays, pair and group work, digital technologies, and gamification, emphasizing their place in the teaching process. Moreover, the practical section demonstrates the effectiveness of these methods through empirical data.
