Theme: Watching TV

The aims of the lesson: 1. To teach students to speak about the theme, to prepare them for the activity and making up the dialogues using their own resources. To encourage their maximum participation.

2. To develop students thinking and memory.

3. To bring up students to watch useful for life programs.

Visual aids. Slides, cards. Picture from the internet.

Methods of teaching: group work, discussion, pair work.

The procedure of the lesson:

1. Organization moment

Greeting.

2. Checking up the home task

Present a dialogue prepared at home on the theme. ‘Watching TV’

3. Brainstorming.

Teacher reads from the Active board in 3 languages (English, Kazakh, Russian)

4. Speaking. Pair work.

Read the questions about television and work in pairs to answer the questions.
