Lawyers •English lawyers are divided into solicitors and barristers, the division very strict. The professional organization of solicitors is the Law Society. Their position is regulated by Acts of Parliament. Future solicitors have to go through a period of a professional training (clerkship) with a practicing solicitor. The period of training lasts for 3 or 5 years, depending upon the educational qualifications of the student. Barristers must have an accepted educational standard and pass legal examinations as well as solicitors. These exams are conducted by the Council of Legal Education. After passing the examinations a barrister may become a member of the Inns of Court.

Pilots •A lot of people are afraid to fly on a plane but there are some others for whom flying is not just a holiday travel but a style of life and a usual kind of job. These people are pilots. Pilots are clever and highly educated people. Compulsory knowledge of English is necessary for their job. They are strong and sporty and well fit. They don't have any harmful habits due to their serious work and all sorts of demands to stay healthy, to live a healthy life. Accuracy and punctuality are also some aspects of their job. Pilots have to be responsible and to be ready to make quick decisions. It's important for them to have a quick reaction. Hundreds of lives depend on the professional quality of a pilot. The pilot must be ready to work in a team and have qualities of a leader. To my mind, this is а very interesting and responsible profession.

Managers •The manager is the official of the enterprise in which he works, and is included in the middle and top management of enterprises or services. The goal of the manager is to ensure the firm’s stable competitiveness. •The determining sign of the manager is the presence of subordinates. Depending on the size and number of control objects, the levels of management are distinguished, and, consequently, managers. •It is generally accepted to assign low-level managers, middle managers and senior managers. •The main functions of managers are management, organization, motivation, control and development. •In general, in order to become a good manager, you need to constantly work on improving your skills for the five functions mentioned above.
