(W) Activity 1 « Garden song»

After the listening the song the learners guess that they are going to learn about garden at this lesson.

Learners are divided into two groups.

(G) Activity 2 « Beautiful gardens the world”

Group 1 has to name only nouns e.g. trees, plants etc

Group 2 has to name only adjectives e.g. nice, beautiful etc

Activity 3 Game «Magic box»

Play the game with magic box to check the objects and rooms of the home. Learners should take the card from the magic box and name the object on he card.

Example a a dining room,a kitchen, abedroom, a sitting room, a cabinet, a study, a bathroom, a balcony etc.

Learners are shown the video. Listen and try to understand the story.Can you guess what about it?

Learners find out the main idea of the stoty.students are shown the video about the garden to activate their ideas.

What does it mean?

Teacher gives devinitions to the following words flower, garden. House .neighbour and colour. Learners must guess the word and make a phrase or short sentence.

1.Flower- the colored part of a plant from wich the seed or fruit develops

Example.a beautiful flower.

Garden-a piece of land next to or around your house where you can grow flower,fruits. Etc.

Example –Children are playing in the garden.

Differentiation

Learners,who are less confident at describing can be given copies of description.

More able learners can be encouraged to use act out a dialogue.

The mostable learners can be encouraged use te full range of language and prepare the description.

Learners are given the text.They must speak about this text after reading it.

The lesson objectives were achived through differentactivities singing The garden song , listening the Flower garden story, watching the presentation about Beautiful gardens in the world.My planned differentiation wotk was achived through the selection of activities speaking on the text, acting out the dialogue and describingthe picture.Learners understood the main idea of the text. Used the prepositions of place and direction. Gave their opinions why they used the garden.
