Warm-up and dividing into groups with “Snowballs ” Make students divide into three groups according the words in the snowball they take: ice, snow, wind Introducing the new theme. Teacher introduces the aim and theme of the lesson.		Students respond to greeting and take their places. Then they make snowballs from paper and throw them at each other, and each student takes one snowball. Divide into groups and take their places Aim: This activity helps to create a friendly atmosphere in a class. Students look at the screen and determine the aim of the lesson together. Middle of the lesson 5 min Pair work	Pre-reading stage: New vocabulary T shows the new vocabulary on the screen and asks students to repeat the words. Task 1. Method “Igloo” Teacher hands out the reading worksheets and explains how to work with them. Differentiation: «Verbal support»		Students look at the screen and repeat the new words chorally. Ss work in pairs and write winter words on the “Igloo” worksheet. One student reads winter word. Another reads summer words. Individual work 5 min	Task 2. Method “Snowflakes”: make sentences with can/can’t and must/mustn’t Teacher hands out the worksheets and explain how to work with them.		Ss individually do the task on their worksheets. Read the sentences and complete them with can/can’t and must/mustn’t. Then they exchange with their partners and check each other’s works. Group work 10 min.	Listen and read the text about Antarctica. Task 3. Method “Mind mapping” Teacher hands out the posters: -What is the text about? -Can you retell it? Make some notes, write key words or draw pictures on the poster according to your texts.		Ss work in groups. Read and discuss the text. In groups write some notes. Then present their posters and retell the text.		Descriptor: Use appropriate subject-specific vocabulary while speaking; Presents the information to the class. 5 minutes	Game “Baige” Let’s play the game, dear students! -Can you ride a horse? -Do you know Kazakh national game Baige? Teacher explains how to play.		Students go around the desk while the music is playing. When it stops one student choose one card and mime it, others should guess the word.
