2. New lesson
   A. Brainstorming. (There is a map of Kazakhstan. Teacher asks some questions).
   - T: Which countries map is this?
   - T: What is the capital of this country?
   - T: What do you know about animals flora and fauna?
   - T: Where is it situated? 
   - T: So, students, What do you think what are we going to speak about?
   - P1, P2, P3, …
   - T: Yes, you are quite right. Today we are going to speak about Kazakhstan, listen to the text and do some tasks in written or in oral form.

I group: Flora of Kazakhstan

Semi-desert is between two different zones-steppes and deserts .Very often large areas are occupied by worm wood, and in some more humid parts, there are thickets of needle grass. Basically, semi-desert vegetation-is fescue, daisy and feather-grass. About 250 species of plants in Kazakhstan are adapted to desert conditions. The most interesting representative is the black saksaul. Also, in the desert area, sand acacia can be found.

The Altai Mountains are rich in cedar and pine forests. In the southern mountains of Tien Shan there are a lot of apple ash forests. Spruce forests grow in Altai mountains.The nature of Altai, Alatau Mountains is rich in various flowers: iris, bluebells, snowdrops,peonies ,some kinds of roses and tulips and the symbol of mountains, edelweiss.

II group: Fauna of Kazakhstan

One can say that Kazakhstan's fauna is unique. On the teretory of the Republic there are 172 species of mammals 490 species of birds 150species of fish 51species of reptiles and 12 species of amphibians .Seleveniya,which has not been discovered outside of Kazakhstan,can be found only in the Betpakdala,in some parts of North Balkhash, in the Alakol and Zaysan basins.Antelopses-saiga and gazelles winter in this deserts. Some species adapted to living in the sands are typical for sandy deserts: ground squirrels ,sand cats.

The fauna of the mountains bordering on Kazakhstan from the South and East is extremely drivers .In the coniferous forests of the Altai, typical forestanimals are found-elk, deer,(maral)musk-deer, ibex, broun bears,snow leopards ,manuls, and long tailed groun squirrel.
