I. Organization moment.
I- Ж: Good afternoon, dear teachers, dear pupils! Welcome to our competition that calls “Welcome to English world!”. Let me introduce to you our players.
Our competition consists of 6 stages.

I- Ж: Today at our school we have a big competition «Welcome to English world!» Before our competition let’s invite our judges. They will give you marks for the competition. Our jury consists of the following teachers-----------------------
II- Ж.: Бүгінгі сайысымыз «Welcome to English world! » деп аталады. Сайысымызды бастамас бұрын әділ-қазылар алқасын сайлап алайық.

III- Let’s invite the participiants of our game. There are two teams. You are welcomeEach team must introduce yourself.

I . I wish you good luck and success. Let’s begin our competition. The first round is “Who is the best?” in these envelopes there are two letters: A and B. I will read you questions and all answers will start with the letters A or B

Letter B
1. A little child (baby)
2. The name of the fruit. (banana)
3. The antonym of the word “good”. (bad)
4. A kind of the dance. (ballet)
5. The capital of Germany. (Berlin)
6 .The English poet /Byron /

ІІThe next task is to do the puzzle “What John likes”. Find 14 words and write down them on your sheet of paper.Келесі айналым басқатырғыш. Яғни, сіздерге Джон нені ұнатады деген сұрақ беріледі сіздер 14 сөз табуыңыз қажет.Егер түсінікті болса тақтаға қарайық.

Before the game , a chance to warm up. All the team stand up and look at the blackboard and repeat

1. V. The next task is to find the opposites of the words. You will be given the sheets of paper with adjectives. Find the antonyms and translate them into Kazakh.

   For the second group:
