I. Organization moment.

- Teacher greets with the students and check their attendance.Sing a song “How are you today?”

Divided pupils into two groups by the pictures.

1^st group indoor sport.

2^nd group outdoor sport.

2.Warm Up: To show them video. Learners watch the video and guess the topic of the lesson: about sports, types of sport “ Hats and Bats” Pupils watch the video .

-What about is this video? Who are the main heroes of the video? -How do you think what are we going to talk today?

IV. Active vocabulary to show them pictures of sports:

What kind of sport did you see on the pitures? Can you name more types of sports?Learners spell the letters and name type of sport.

V.Task:1 Use the method “Bag vocabulary”

Learners take in the bag one of sport equipment and name kind of sport.

I .The teacher asks questions to the learners about different sports and asks them to make a poster classify them according to the season.

1^st group describe winter types of sport

2^nd group describe summer types of sport

Finally each group evaluate each other with Traffic light assessment.

Learners look at the slide and talk about different sports which are played by famous politicians including N.A.Nazarbayev, V.V.Putin, D.Trump. The teacher ask some questions to the students to check the comprehenshion.

Who are they? What sport game does our leader play?What sport does V. Putin go in for? Who likes riding a horse?

Physical training game “ Show sport”

A learner is to show the type of the sport with gestures. The rest of the learners guess it.

II. Match the words with the pictures of sport

Learners are provided with worksheets where they match the words of sport equipment with the sports. After they have done the task, they change their works with each pairs and check them with right answer on the board.

Reading a poem

Learners read a poem first and try to guess the missing words.They write the picture words in their copybooks .After they have written the words they see the original of the poem and then check it with the teacher.
