Lesson: Look at the map

The aims: a) educational: to guide the students to an understanding of the comparison of adjectives

                b) developing:  to develop pupils’ skills of reading, tidy writing, listening and speaking, their mental abilities.

       c) cultural:   to bring up pupils to respect each other, to be tidy, polite, responsible.

The type of the lesson: mixed lesson

The kind of the lesson: mastering new material

Teaching methods: explaining, listening, reading, comparing, speaking.

Visual aid: an interactive board, computer, flash – cards, grammar tasks, ball.

The procedure of the lesson

I. Organization moment

a) greeting

T: Good morning, pupils!

P: Good morning, teacher!

b) asking the date

T: What date is it today?

P: Today is the 8^th of February

c) checking up the attendance

T: Who is on duty today?

P: I am on duty today.

T: Who is absent?

P: All are present.

II. Checking up the homework  

• Divide the children into 3 groups (stickers)

• Take some cards from the box and say “I wish you…”

IV. New theme

Сапалық сын есімдер жай шырайда, салыстырмалы шырайда және күшейтпелі шырайда болады. Мысалы: big (үлкен) – bigger (үлкенірек) – the biggest (ең үлкен).

Сын есімдердің түрленуі

Бір буынды сын есімдердің салыстырмалы шырайлысына -er жалғауы, ал күшейтпелі шырайлысына -est жалғауы жалғанады. Күшейтпелі шырайдағы сын есімнің алдына кей жағдайларда the артиклі қойылады (the oldest man in our town (біздің қалашықтағы ең қарт кісі), my the newest socks (менің ең жаңа шұлықтарым)).

Соңы -y әрпіне бітетін бір буынды сын есімнің соңындағы -y әрпі -i әрпіне өзгереді.
