To introduce a new topic and explain the lesson: -Dear my pupils, our new topic is “Look at the map”. We will repeat the rule of reading of letters “-er”, “-est” in words.. The teacher will show pictures and explains how to read the letter “-er” and “-est”. Teacher read proverb and learn by heart with children.. Then teacher put disk and pupil will listen and write what they heard. Today we will have a lesson about Superlative degree of adjectives. Comparative adjectives are used to compare a noun to another noun such as this truck uses more gas than this car. Superlative adjectives are used to compare three or more nouns and show which is best such as hot, hotter and hottest. The adjective is listed first, followed by the comparative adjective and then the superlative adjective: For example: Angry- angrier- angriest Broad- broader- broadest Calm – calmer- calmest -Let’s do exercise to know you understand today’s topic and to secure our lesson. The teacher ask question about today’s topic and children answer them. Now let’s do exercise. Make the sentences: Bobby is ______ than Lorry. (old) Tom is the ____ child. (old) Kanat is the ______. (short) Temirlan is ____ than Ademy. (tall) |
