We have different figures for different letters. S tudents together with the teacher identify the topic of the lesson and its objectives. O - T U - W R - N Division into two groups: students choose one of the pictures with buildings: bank and supermarket. Revision of previous material. (W) Students revise the learned vocabulary on the topic “Our Rooms”. (bedroom, bathroom, living-room) (W) Activity .Vocabulary. Teacher shows the pictures with different buildings and pronounces the words, and students repeat the words after the teacher. Then teacher shows the pictures with the words and she doesn’t pronounce them. And her students should name these words. 2. (G) (S) Activity. Matching activities. T: Please, match the words with the pictures. Descriptor: a learner: • matches the words with the pictures Teacher’s oral feedback 3. (W) (S) (f) Activity. Method “Memory game” Consolidation of the words. Game. One student throws the ball and says the word. Another student catches the ball, repeats this word and adds his own word. Look at the map of the city. Fill in the gaps with prepositions. Descriptor: A learner: uses prepositions from the boxes and the picture; completes sentences with proper prepositions; answers the questions according to the pictures. Group assessment 6. Ask and answer the questions. Students work in pairs. They turn to each other and ask questions. e.g. – Excuse me! Where is the supermarket? - It is next to the butcher’s. All learners understand and translate the questions. Most learners respond the questions and give short answer. e.g. Is this a hospital? Yes it is. / No, it isn’t.
