1.Organization moment. Greeting. Learners respond to greeting of the teacher and take their places. 2.Checking home task Asking home task by strategy “Just a minute”. (Learners take it in turns to speak for one minute about the topic or the lesson without repetition, pause or mistake.) (I) 3.Brain storming. Teacher rolls the paper with picture of town and ask Learners to say what given in this paper. Shows pictures to learners. Question: What is insight of paper? 4. Vocabulary of the lesson. “1 minute memory” (Teacher shows the words for one minute, then students say the words which remember) (I) Presents the new words: a brochure – брошюра, location – орналасқан жері, buildings - ғимараттар, including – оның ішінде, a church – шіркеу, a port – порт. |
Learners respond to greeting of the teacher and take their place. Tell about their favourite places in a town. Learners say what do they see. Divide into three groups. Copies out and repeat the new words chorally and individually. |
At the organization moment T tries to award active Ss. with phrases like: “Good job! Well done!” Words of praise “Well, try again” |

Presentation Teacher explains how to use be+also in sentence. ``We use also to give further information about something. It helps to link two things together and makes descriptions sound more natural. Comes after the verb be, it usually comes before all other verbs. For example, There are also interesting museums here``. Task1. Individually work. Teacher refers students to the sentences and explain the task.
Task 2. Pair work. Identify details in a text with little support.
Teacher focus on the photos and flag, ask learners ``What country’s flag is it? What do you see in these pictures? ``.
Teacher gives the learners task to match title with correct topic.
Then gives questions and check their answers using app ``bamboozle``.
Task 3. Group work. Write short sentences on familiar topics; Make an argument and reason it.
Teacher gives learners to write a brochure about your town in group. Points out that it is always important to think and plan before beginning to write. Uses the questions and allow them time to make notes for each one.
Task 1. Teacher gives to match the words with picture. Task 2. Teacher gives a card and asks to answer the question about your town . |
Learners rewrite the sentences, including ‘also’ in each one. Read the text independently and match. Then answer the questions. Check their answers using the app ``bamboozle``. Make a brochure about their town in group. Follow the steps in the writing guide. Read and match the words with p. Answer the question and write the words correctly. |
