He didn’t have enough money to buy the bread ,but he loved the smell. Every morning Gabriel sat down in front of the bakery and smelled the bread. One winter day the baker saw Gabriel smelling the bread. He got very angry You are smelling the smell of my bread. You can’t do that! You must pay for it. “I’m not eating the bread. I don’t have to pay just to smell it” , answered Gabriel . “Yes, you do. Let’s go to the judge !” The judge listened to Gabriel and the baker. “This is difficult problem ,” he said .He sat and thought .After 2 hours he asked Gabriel : “Do you have any money ?” Gabriel took out a little bag with 10 pennies in it . Shake the bag , Gabriel , said the judge . Gabriel shook the bag and the coins jungled.“Listen to the sound of the coins, Baker ,” he said .
