all this is the heart of what was once the
world's largest empire. Northern Ireland - the northern part of the
island of Ireland belonging to Britain.
Ireland - most of the Emerald Isle that gained
independence from Britain.
Isle of Man - the Crown Estate of Great
Britain in the Irish Sea, directly between
Great Britain and Ireland.
Channel Islands (including the Isle of Jersey
