William Shakespeare was an English poet and
playwright, he was born on April 23, 1564 in Stratford-
on-Avon. The exact date of his birth/death is unknown.
William went to a grammar school and had a good
education.
When he was 18, he married a farmer's daughter, Anne
Hathaway. She was 8 years older than him. Together
during their marriage, they had three children. Suzanne,
Hamnet and Judith.
Shakespeare has influenced the English language more
than any other author in history due to the fact that he
popularized and invented many words and phrases.
