Previous learning3 minTeacher asks what date it is and who absent is, what homework it is for today.Your homework is to learn the new words related to the previous lesson “Numbers for today.You know, children at the previous lesson we learned how to name the numbers 1 to 10. And now let’ s repeat them all together looking at the pictures. Give each pupil numbers and they would say the numbers as they can.

Beginning the lesson.OUR WORLD.(Activities to familiarize the pupils with schools from diferrent parts of the world.)1.Listen and point.Put up the world map. Point to the UK and say: This is the UK.-Do you have any friends or relatives from this country?- What do you think schools are like in this country?Have a class discussion, in L1 if necessary. Follow the same procedure with Russia and Kazakhstan. 2. AudioscriptI’m Alex. I’m ten. This is my school.I’m Yuri. I’m seven. This is my school.I’m Assel. I’m six. This is my school.

The CD is playing. Pupils listen and point to the pictures. Play the Cd again pausing after each sentence. The pupils repeat, chorally and/or individually.

Draw your school. Present it to the class.The pupils to draw their own school. Then they come to the front of the classroom and talk about it. Make sure you display their drawings somewhere in the classroom. Eg: I’m Korkem. I’m six. This is my school.



Chinese Whispers. We are going to play a game called Chinese Whispers. Rule. Teacher approaches a pupil at the front desk and whisper the word from the module. Ask him/her to whisper the same word to the pupil who is sitting next to him/her, who then whispers it to the next pupil, etc. Ask the last pupil to call out the word. Repeat the procedure as many times as you think is necessary.
