I. Organization moment:

Teacher greets with leaners.

Teacher: Good morning!

How are you?

Welcome to our English lesson

Ok, if you are ready let’s start our lesson


Teacher shows a video and leaners sing the song together.


II. Checking up the home task.

T asks from students about opposites. T uses worksheets in checking home task.

Descriptors: a leaners

-review the vocabulary;

-work in group.

Teacher distributes cards of the shapes randomly.

First group name called “city” and second group name called “village”.

Students respond to greeting and take their places

Learners answer the question ‘How are you?’


Children’s greetings. Students watch a video and sing a greeting song. Then pupils choose one of the smiles they see on the slide, saying “I am happy/sad….etc.”


The aim: To develop Ss speaking skills and create good atmosphere

Efficiency: By telling the teachers they show their opinions .

Ss look choice cards and divide them into 2 groups

At the organization moment T tries to award active Ss.

III. Introduce lesson

Presentation of new lesson.

Inform learners that they are going to look a picture and then they must tell what this picture is about.

a) What do you think about these pictures?

b) What we can see in these pictures?

c) What has been changed?

After learners saying teacher says that this is today’s theme. Then teacher writes on the blackboard date and theme of the lesson. Teacher introduces with the theme of the lesson, with learning objectives and assessment criterion. Show the slide and put brainstorming questions about the pictures as following.

As you see our numbers in the box like a treasure. Can you guess today’s theme? Today’s theme is “Town”.

In differentiation part «Discussion» method was used to check up Pupil’s vocabulary knowledge.



Pupils should pay attention to the screen and recognize the theme of our lesson



Efficiency: Ss refresh their mind before starting new theme.

VI. Grammar

Preposition

Prepositions of Place are used to show the position or location of one thing with another.

It answers the question "Where?"

Behind-артында

Teacher shows slide to the class and ask. Where is the….? Learners will answer the questions. Teacher follows some procedures and presents the rest of the prepositions.

Students takes several gifts from your teacher for marks.
