Explain the activity. Allow the pupils some time to complete it. Play the CD. The pupils listen and check their answers.Then ask the pupils if they know any other place or animal that is in danger. Elicit answers. Ask the pupils to say why this place/animal is in danger.

Extension activity (Optional)

Project: An endangered place/animal.

Ask the pupils to write a small paragraph about a place/animal that is in danger. They can use ideas from Ex. 32 and the texts as models. They can draw or look for pictures on the Internet and attach them. Alternatively, assign the project for homework. The pupils then present their projects to the class.
