1. Greeting of the class

Teacher greets students and asks question:

Good morning . learners!

-How are you today?

-How are the weather today?

-Are you ready for our lesson today?

Teacher divides Ss into groups with the picture of old and modern fashion .

Teacher asks learners to predict the theme of the lesson and then introduces the aims of the lesson to the learners.

Question:

1. How do you think what are we going to speak about at the lesson today?

Warm-up

1.Where do you buy clothes?

2.Do you like fashion clothes?

3.What clothes do you usually wear every day ?

4. What adjectives can you use to describe the clothes?

Pre-reading vocabulary

Look at the pictures and match the clothes with the words in the box.

Students respond to greeting

Ss choose the cards and divide into 2 groups

1 group – “ Old fashion“

2 group – “Modern fashion”

Learners predict and say the name of the lesson with the help of listening song and answering the question below.

Ss answer the questions making choices about their own and others’ ideas
