The aims: To develop pupils’ logical thinking, memory attention, interests for the English language. To enlarge their vocabulary, to improve their reading, writing and listening skills.
Visual aids: interactive board, slide and cards.

Organization moment:

Good morning our students! Good morning our guests!

I’m glad to meet you. How are you?  Do you know English? Can you speak English?  We’ll see it. Today we’ll have a competition. Four teams will take part in our competition. At first let’s see the names of every groups.

Now, let me introduce our judge. Here they are: an English teacher Aizharykova Lyazzat and Agleshova Gulshat.

It’s high time to begin our competition.

Well, let’s imagine that we are passengers of this funny train. We are going to travel to Knowledge land. Look at the screen, please. Take your seats. Be attentive. The train is leaving….

Teacher will hand alphabet letters out to the pupils and they have to find the letter that they will hear from the teacher.

Pupils have to pass the ball saying one word about food.
