About
my
native town
I live in a beautiful not
large city. It’s my birth place. Its name is Atyrau. Atyrau is an
exciting, a noisy busy city. It was founded at the beginning of the
18-th century. My city is not very large but it is a very beautiful
and young. I like my city very much because it is my birthplace.
There are some squares, large parks, wide streets with beautiful
buildings, cinemas, theatres and shops. Every year hundreds of
tourists come to Atyrau. They want to visit the famous historical
places of the city and other places of interest. The main streets
of our city are Azattyk and Satpaev. They are beautiful and long
but they have a lot of modern and old buildings, shops, cafes,
restaurants and bars. It’s green city because there green trees,
grasses and colorful flowers in it. There some cinemas in our city.
Today people go to the cinema not so often as before but young
people like to do it. I am proud of our museums: historical and
art. Our town is a city of the youth. Thousands of young people
study at many institutes, schools, colleges. We also have sport
ground, swimming- pools, gymnasiums and other good places where
young people may spend their free time. I like my native town very
much. I want it always to be beautiful and clean. I’ll do
everything for my town. My native town becomes especially beautiful
in early spring when there is a great many rose-shrubs in
flower-beds and everything is in blue.
