The aim of the lesson/ Learning Result: understand the main points of supported extended talk on a range of general and curricular topics; understand the main points in a limited range of short simple texts on general and curricular topics; respond with limited flexibility at sentence level to unexpected comments on an increasing range of general and curricular topics; use appropriate subject-specific vocabulary to talk about a limited range of general topics
a) Educational: acquaintance with the new grammatical material on the theme "Adjectives. Formation of degrees of comparison of single and two-complex adjectives";
b) Pedagogical: to teach students` to get the information, to express their own opinion
c)Developing: developing self-presentation and teamwork skills.
Obligations, assessment criteria: uses the words with support; uses and explains the words without support; prepares and compares the lexical material with support; prepares, compares and explains the lexical materials without support.

I go to school at a quarter to eight (7.45.). School starts at eight o’clock. I have 6 lessons every day. I have Russian, English, Maths, History, Literature, Music, Art and Physical Education. School finishes at half past one and I go home. I have dinner at two o’clock. After dinner I do my homework. I have supper at seven o’clock. In the evening I watch TV, play computer games and help my mother about the house. At 10 o’clock I go to bed and my working day is over. |

Adjectives have three degrees of comparison: positive, comparative and superlative. Today we’ll study it.
Adjectives are descriptive words and they describe the noun in context. Adjectives usually answer the questions like "which", "what kind of", "how many", etc. For example:
Ex.1. Complete A. Write the comparative form of the adjectives 1) Ann is ___________ (happy) than her sister. 2) My hair is ______________ (long) than my sister’s hair. 3) These exams are getting ___________ (bad) and ___________ (bad) every year. 4) John is ____________ (thin) than Bob. 5) Steve is _____________ (happy) today than he was yesterday. 6) Mary’s car is ____________ (large) than Mark’s car. Ex.2. Group work (cluster). And at the beginning of our lesson let’s create a cluster. You need a big sheet of paper, glue, pictures .Task is to find as more adjectives to a picture as possible Ex. 3. Answer about you. 1. Who’s the oldest person in your family? (The oldest person in my family is ...) 2. Who’s the tallest person in your family? 3. Who’s the funniest person in your family? 4. Who’s the worst singer in your family? 5.
