Duration - 40 minutes.

Listening- 10 minutes

Reading- 10 minutes

Writing- 10 minutes

Total marks - 16.

Speaking task is conducted separately.


The structure of the Summative Assessment

Different types of multiple choice and open-ended tasks are used in the Summative Assessment for the term.

This Assessment consists of 4 tasks.

Gap filling tasks require learners to put word(s) in the spaces provide

Multiple choice tasks consist of information from the talk where learners should decide whether the given information True or False according to the talk.

Gap filling tasks require learners put words from the box and use comparative adjectives

Open-ended tasks require learners pronounce familiar words and short phrases intelligibly when they read the questions aloud and answer the questions.
