Lesson overview Introduce with the theme of the lesson and observe the learning outcomes. “Polyglot” Learners are asked to brainstorm on the proverbs and quotations about animals. Can you guess the theme of our lesson today? Look at the pictures and watch the video. Then guess the theme of our today’s lesson. Name the wild and domestic animal. Name and describe them. Exc. 1 a p. 21 Direct Ss’ attention to the pictures and elicit what each one shows choosing from the words. Play the recording for Ss to repeat chorally and then individually. Then give them time to match the words to the pictures. e.g. picture 1 – river
Exc. 2 a) p. 21 Reading: Ask Ss to work in pairs and read the sentences 1-6 and decide which ones they think are true and tick them. Watch the video.
