ORGANIZATIONAL MOMENT

This lesson learners will revise weather vocabulary and practice speaking activities to talk about their favorite seasons of the year.











BRAINSTORMING

Teacher asks simple questions:

  1. What is the date today?

  2. What day of the week is it today?

  3. What is the weather like today?

Teacher introduces new theme and new words: desert, jungle, freezing, dry, South Pole














Learners divided into 4 groups: winter, spring, summer and autumn. The first task is quiz. Teacher shows them cells on the screen. They choose one cell, answer the questions and get points. Kids collect points for each correct answer. Teacher scores the points on the screen.






Let’s do some exercises!

Teacher encourages students to stand up and do exercises.

When Teacher says “Move” students have to dance or move around, when she says “Freeze” they have to stop moving.







Teacher hands in worksheets to each group. There are words related to the seasons with missing letters. Learners have to complete the words.

One of the students goes to the blackboard and reads all words.


Learners watch the presentation, Then listen and pronounce.



After that they write down the words to their copybooks.





Learners choose one cell, answer the questions.











Students follows the Teacher’s instructions.
