The introduction of new words: Schoolbag, book, pen, pencil, rubber, blackboard, chalk, Phonetic drill (in chorus, in chain) A game “Train” Five pupils are standing one by one holding a picture with one new word. The rest of the pupils name a word (in chain). A pupil with the named word walks in front of the “Train” and so on. Plural nouns: to explain in native language the idea of “Plural”. Count 1,2,3 windows. Competition in two teams. A) Select the words if they are singular or plural. b) Explain your choice. (to pronounce correctly the difference) Structures : “this is a/an…”, “ these are…”. To show the phonetic difference between this/these. Look at the pictures and say: This is a pen. These are pens. |
