Greeting & Warm-up: Greet students and ask "Ice-breaker" questions about adventures. Lead in. Suddenly a strange signal has been detected… "…deep under the Earth." "Scientists are unable to explain it." "They need your help." (Sound cuts to silence) Teacher delivers slowly, with a serious and mysterious tone) "Today, you are not students." (Short pause) "You are explorers and scientists." (Step forward or look around the room) "Your mission is to investigate this signal. You will need logic, knowledge, and teamwork." (Long pause for dramatic effect) "Welcome... to the expedition." |
