GREETINGS. The teacher prepares posters with the pictures of people who are wearing Kazakh traditional clothes and hangs them to the wall at the entrance to the classroom. Teacher divides the class into groups with the help of “Spinner” The group is divided according to the “Vector psychology” by making groups with the leader and mixed skilled students. The teacher gives students ‘assessment sheet with descriptors’ |
Greeting Each student has to chooses of the greetings and say Hello and enter The aim: To involve students to the theme from the beginning of the lesson The 1st aim: to avoid psychological stress of different skilled students and to teach how to work in a team. The 2nd aim: to help weaker students to increase their beliefs in themselves. |
At the organization moment teacher tries to award active students. «The praise» method is used to evaluate students with phrases like: “Good job! Well done!” Formative Assessment Good job! Well done! |

Homework: Tenses The teacher starts from teaching new words by showing them in presentation and additionally using flashcards.
Task 1 “Puzzle” method. In order to pin the topic the teacher give two types of cards. In the cards will be written types of guests. Task 2 “Rules” method. Teacher prepares two types of envelopes, “true” and “false.This method helps to improve students’ fast thinking ability. Before giving the 3rd task, the teacher and students read the text about “Kazakh rules of hospitality” Task 3 “Bauyrsak” method. This task helps to children learn the rules of hosts and guests. For example: What should a person do when he goes to visit, or if quests come to him. Task 4 “Describing” methodoloy. This task helps to practise new words and helps to improve speaking skills of students |
Students have to guess the tense by the game Students try to guess the new words and to find their flashcards. Students have to find the definitions of words. In the first cards will be written words and in the second cards will be written the meaning of the words. For example: The meaning of word “arnaiy konak” is “an invited guest” Students read the text. Then they have to find true or false by “Envelope” method. if the sentence is true they have to put it to the “correct” envelope, if it is false – they have to put it to the “false” envelope
Students have to read the text, understand the rules of the hosts and guests, and answer the questions. Students have to describe using these pictures. |
