Teacher greets the learners

Pre-learning / Warm –up

-Teacher uses flashcards /PPT to introduce animals and actions .

-Show each flashcard one by one and train pronunciation of each word .

Vocabulary : bird , monkey , fish , dog , cat , jump, fly , sing , swim and others

Teacher stick pictures of animals on the board and ask to learners complete the table (stick the pictures) in right column

(Pictures of camel, dog, wolf, fox, cat , bear , rabbit , elephant and others)

Animal sounds activity

Learners listen a sounds of animals and guess the animals . Teacher Use the sounds to get learners to describe what they can hear.

Physical Training

Learners watch a video of the song ‘If you are a kid: animal sounds’, do the actions of animals and sing animals’ sounds. And learners draw a picture of favourite animal.

Group work

Task Strategy “Animal word search ”

Teacher divide class into 3 groups by choosing cards (pictures of wild and domestic animals) and gives to groups animals word search and who is finish and find more words is won in this task .

Search for the words and spell the word .They are hidden left to right and down. Spell the words correctly.

Learners finds the hidden words and spell it . For example : cat , c-a-t.

2. Teacher gives for 3 groups papers where written animals , and learners should show the actions of animals and describes these animals .Next group should guess the animal.Game is continued .

Groups assess each other by two stars one wish.
