Pre – reading Ex:1 P:76 • Explain the task. Allow Ss time to read through the text in order to answer the questions. Check answers around the class. Pre – teaching vocabulary task Let’s learn the new words and expressions before watching the story. Keep them in mind, we will use them later!
Match the words with the pictures. Then listen, check and repeat While – reading Ex: 3 P: 77 • Play the recording. Ss listen and read the text Answer the questions Differentiation: «Verbal support» method is used to help Ss use new words in the sentences. Post - reading Teacher asks look at the pictures and choose the descriptions from the list by method “Catch the fish” Check answers. a beautiful house? a fisherman catching a fish? dark sea and rain? an angry woman with a bucket? a queen and her servants? a queen and the golden fish as a servant? Ex: 4 P: 77 • Allow Ss time to prepare their answers. Ss can work in closed pairs. Check Ss answers. Teacher asks Ss to work in groups and make mind map about “What is your wish to the golden fish?” Teacher asks students to look at the active board and play an online game. They should choose correct answer. • Conclusion during the lesson some tasks differentiated by outcomes of the students and by their abilities. |
