Before reading the text let’s introduce with new words. There are some new words on the blackboard. You must matching new words with picture.

Task 1. So, let’s read the text about two capital cities. The group Astana is going to read text about Astana, and the group London is going to read text about London.

Task 2. Walking gallery in order check your understanding the text let’s do the next task. There are sentences for each group on the wall . I will give you cards with words, you must complete the sentences.

There is no underground in Astana. The main transport is buses

London has a population of over 8,6 million people

Over one million people a day use the London underground
