І. Организационный момент. Warm-Up (10 min)
1. Class Discussion:

Show students an image from the textbook (Guido Daniele’s art).

Ask:
-
Is this a photo or a painting? Why do you think so?
-
What do you know about hyperrealism?
-
What skills do artists need to create such works?
-
Объяснение новой темы. Reading & Comprehension (25 min)
1. Skimming Task (5 min):
-
Students skim the text Hyperrealism in Art (p. 77) in pairs and underline key details.
-
Answer the question: What is hyperrealism? (1-2 sentences).
2. Intensive Reading (10 min):
-
Students read the text again and complete Exercise 3 (fill in the gaps).
-
Peer check answers in pairs.
-
One student writes answers on the board for whole-class feedback.
3. Comprehension Questions (10 min):
-
Group Activity: Students work in small groups to answer questions (Exercise 2).
-
Teacher facilitates discussion.
-
Groups present answers, and the class discusses them.

One student plays the journalist, and the other is the artist.

They use the text and their own ideas to create at least 5 questions and answers.

Selected pairs perform in front of the class.
