Form : 5 Theme: «Best of the best» The aims of the lesson:1) Educational: to teach the students to love their mother tongue and respect foreign languages. 2) Developing: to develop the pupils habits of the oral speech , to develop pupils creative and logical abilities, understanding, reading and writing, grammar and lexical skills. 3) Bringing-up: to bring up love and interest to the subject, to respect each other, to create an English atmosphere in the classroom. Inter-subject connection: Kazakh, English, Russian The type of the lesson: competitionThe equipment of the lesson: diagrams on the tasks, pictures, posters, computers, interactive board. T: Ok, pupils, today we have a competition lesson, so we will compete. At first let's divide our class into 2 command. Now, the first command we'll call as «Future kings» , and second command is called as « Pretty princess». Our competition consists of 8 parts. They are:1. Acquaint2. Polyglot3. Crocodile4. Distinction5. Who is faster?6. Clever friends7. Conclusion

Our jury are: _____________________________________ . Juries please estimate points of 2 commands.

Let's begin our 1st turn, which is called Acquaint. In this turn we must to acquaint.

First command «Future kings» Second command « Pretty princess».

Polyglot. I'll set you riddles to solve. You must find answer of these riddles and translate it into Russian and English. Point of 1 riddle is 10.

Айдалада ақ отау,

Аузы мұрны жоқ отау. (жұмыртқа – яйцо – an egg)

Сол аяқ пен оң аяқ,

Кезек оны тебеді.Ол тынымсыз домалап,Зыр жүгіре береді. (доп – мяч – a ball)

Crocodile. In this turn we'll show the words to own command in 5 minute, but we can’t say. Own command must find words in 5 minute. Point of 1 word is 5.

Words to Future kings:A book, a pen, a telephone, an apple, a computer, a school, a car, a paper, a tiger, a boy.Words to Pretty princess:A cat, a dog, a car, a table, a telephone, a blackboard, a book, a pen, a girl, an apple, a boy.

One more contest. It's called “ Distinction”. You must find differences between two pictures.

(Денсаулық бірінші байлық) Денсаулық зор байлық.4.It’s a small world. ( Жер дөңгелек)5. Time is money. (Уақыт ақша)

Conclusion

T: I will give tokens to the groups whose answers are right and at the end of the competition I will count the tokens. Which group has many tokens it will be a winner. Our jury will add up the score of the game.

Jury: The score is … to … in smb's favour. The team “ … “ is the winner.
