Greeting and asking questions about the day and the weather

In this lesson learners will revise the parts of the body and describe their body using this, these.

Listening and singing along

Listen to a song and ask kids to name the body parts. This checks their knowledge from last year (assessment for learning).Basing on the knowledge, teacher may plan further activities.



Checking homework

  1. Children are given the missing letters, one by one they stick the right letter and read the word (part of the body)

  2. Children are given pictures, one by one they match the pictures to the right word

Children watch the video which contains the phrases using this is my….., these are my…..

Children drill the usage of This is my … chorally and individually. Teacher gives two examples. Children make up their own phrases themselves based on the previous examples.
