Org. moment: Greeting learners Warm-up: The aim of this warm-up repeat name of thing around us. What is it? Teacher chooses some pictures of object that are familiar to learners. Teacher shows learners a small portion of the picture. Get them to guess what the picture might be. Dividing into subgroups using difference shapes and color of figure |

Middle |
Learners will listen in audio about the mythical creatures. What are these creatures in their language. ,(hippogriff, phoenix, the Samruk , Cyclops, unicorn, dragon). Task 1 Work in groups (S+S) Ex: 2. Listen, repeat and point to: a thick mane, a single eye, a horn, a long tail, sharp claws, a beak, big wings, sharp teeth, long feathers. Descriptor: learners Pronounce correctly words. . Task 2 Work in groups Ex: 3.Look at the picture on the whiteboard and make up sentences. Which of the creatures looks like: a horse? a huge snake, a giant, an eagle?
Task 3 Work in groups Ex:4. Describe the pictures. A unicorn looks like a horse. It has got a horn, a thick mane and a long tail. Two groups will be given colored pictures protect their creation. |
