- Today we have an unusual lesson. Let`s wish good luck to each other!

  • Ok. The theme of our lesson is Summer camp. Today we will learn new words and will use them in the writing, reading of the texts. Also we will make a poster and answer questions.

Updating knowledge

  • Before the new theme let`s revise the vocabulary from the previous lesson. Write a few letters on the board. Ask the pupils to make words. What are these words?

  • Let`s do the task – Ex.18 p.100. (individual work)

  • Allow the pupils some time to unscramble the letters and write the words. Who can tell me what we are going to do?

  • You have 5 min.

  • Let`s check yourself!

Pre- reading task

  • The pupils listen and follow in their books. The pupils then read the texts silently and answer the questions. Ask the pupils to say which sentences helped them to answer the questions. You have a text with new words

  • Read the text and try to understand it.

Task 1. Work in pairs.

  • Read the sentences. Answer the questions.

  • Who can tell me what we are going to do?
