Hello, boys and girls! How are you? Now let’s sing a song to greet each other and our guests.

WARM UP

Teacher asks pupils to make a big circle and sing a song in a circle

Teacher introduces the topic of the lesson: The topic of the lesson is “Draw and colour”.

1 INTRODUCTION

Teacher elicits and pre-teaches colours

:green, yellow, red, blue…ect.

Teacher gives learners colour cards and ask them to invide them in two groups Warm and Cold Colours .


2 GROUPWORKING

Teacher gives pictures to each group to illustrate given words. One group explain their pictures,for example,for a flower. The other group has to guess and name the colour.

3 Colour the worksheet (the apples are red, the carrots are orange , the pears are green)

4 Listening and colouring

Let’s listen and sing all together the colouring song and colour the pictures on the white board

5 Draw a rainbow



FORMATIVE ASSESSMENT

Teacher reads colour words and points to the picture. Learners choose and circle the word that matches the picture.
