Teachers who work too hard burn out
I would like to share my thoughts on this statement: "Teachers who work too hard burn out." First of all, I would like to say that I partially agree and disagree with this phrase. As I understood from my own teaching experience, burnout is caused not only by hard work, but also:
1) lack of desire (motivation) to teach (some teachers chose this job unknowingly or accidentally). For example, I almost lost the motivation to teach because I saw that some of my students were not interested in studying because they were from dysfunctional families;
2) perfectionism (when the teacher tries to give more than he can, or do more than he can, for example, work all night, checking the tests);
3) devote your whole life to the profession, not being able to find a place for yourself and your family. For example, often when a teacher gets sick, he does not think about himself and his health, and most importantly, go to work
