Aim: to increase students' interest in learning a foreign language and the country of the language being studied..
Tasks:
1.Educational:. Increase in the vocabulary of students;. Broadening the linguistic outlook and learning of students; Familiarization with comparison idioms in English.
2.Practical:. Activation and consolidation of the vocabulary on the topics of School, Professions;. Identification of the level of knowledge, skills and abilities on the topics covered;. Repetition of the grammatical material by the tempo Present Simple, Present Continuous;.
3.Developing:. Development of language intuition, attention and logical thinking;. 4.Educational:. Education of the ability to work in a team;. Education of the sense of mutual help;. Education of respectful attitude to rivals;. Education of culture of communication.. Equipment:. G) The form of the event (game-competition) was chosen taking into account the age (for students in grade 5 a free form of the event on foreign language is more acceptable) and the individual psychological characteristics of the pupils (the class always had an atmosphere of competition and competition).
D) Interdisciplinary links were traced (English, country studies).
